South Dakota Featured in Delta Sky Magazine
This month, air travelers flying Delta will have the opportunity to learn about South Dakota while 30,000 feet in the air.
The multi-page spread highlights South Dakota's business climate, top companies and tourism industry.
"We are happy to have the opportunity to showcase South Dakota to Delta Sky Magazine's 5.4 million monthly readers," said GOED Commissioner Pat Costello. "Delta has 15,000 flights to 57 countries daily, so this publicity will be far-reaching."

GOED's Economic Indicators Get Face Lift
Each month, the GOED’s research division publishes an Economic Indicators information sheet that gives economic developers and business development staff the latest statistics, rankings and other economic information. Recently, the information sheet was revamped and now has more organized content and a more polished look.
“We really want our economic indicators to be a useful tool for both our staff and our partnering organizations,” said Pat Costello, GOED Commissioner. “Our information is now grouped into broader categories - like workforce and economy – and offers more context on some of the data because we show year-to-year comparisons on more of the indicators.”
Then newly revamped Economic Indicators also have a migration map, place less emphasis on unemployment rates, and place more emphasis on the state’s growing workforce.
The Economic Indicators also feature a Cost of Living section that will showcase different South Dakota and regional cities each month.
The economic indicators can be found on the GOED’s website for its economic development partners, www.sdreadytopartner.com
