Master Sgt. Israel Del Toro to be Keynote Speaker at 2018 GOED Conference

Master Sgt. Israel Del Toro has been selected to deliver the keynote address at the 2018 Governor's Economic Development Conference, April 12 in Sioux Falls.

Del Toro is the first combat disabled Air Force technician to re-enlist. After an IED explosion in Afghanistan, he spent three months in a coma with severe burns on most of his body. He was given a 15 percent chance at survial, but despite his odds, he not only re-enlisted, but competed in the Inviticus Games and won a gold medal!

Del Toro will speak on the importance of perseverance and determination in accomplishing personal and professional goals.

More information on the conference will be posted at as it becomes available.
