PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota petroleum retailers are invited to attend a free informational meeting to discuss and learn how their businesses can access grant money for flex fuel pumps and storage tanks. The grants are funded by the newly updated Ethanol Infrastructure Grant Program, offered by the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

The informational meeting will be held in Aberdeen, S.D., on Tuesday, April 21, at 1 p.m. CDT, at the Smart Center, located at 416 Production St. North in the Smart Center Classroom.

Topics discussed will include how ethanol benefits South Dakota; an explanation of the grant program and how it works; what’s new about the program in 2015; tactical issues regarding blender pumps; and a success story of how one petroleum retailer has benefited from installing ethanol blender pumps.
