COVID-19: Small Business Administration's Economic Injury Disaster Loan funds now available in South Dakota. Learn More
South Dakota produces about one billion gallons of ethanol a year. And thanks to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s new Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program, South Dakota fuel retailers now have another tool to help them promote South Dakota’s homegrown energy.
The Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program provides grants to gas stations for installation of ethanol blender pumps. Blender pumps allow motorists to select their desired blends of gasoline and ethanol.
Grant awards up to $25,000 are available for installation of a station’s first blender pump. Grant awards up to $10,000 are available for installation of each additional pump.
As of Jan. 9, 2013 the Governor’s Office of Economic Development is accepting grant applications. For more information, click here.
